The Paintbox Artist Supply and Gift Gallery was started in 2000 by owners Marla Blackwell and Marie Sigurdson – both had a vision that Cochrane needed an art store that local and surrounding artists would enjoy shopping at. As well it became clear very soon that art classes would be welcomed . Since then the Paintbox has evolved into a thriving and unique business offering all kinds of art supplies, mats and frames, gifts, original art and art classes.

BUSINESS HOURS
10:00am – 5:30pm Monday through Friday.
10:00am – 5:00pm Saturday.
12:00pm - 4:00pm Sundays (trial basis - call store first 851-0678).

DISCOUNTS
The Paintbox offers discounts to students, local art clubs, schools and volume discounts are also available.

PARKING
There is a convenient parking lot at back of building.

SERVICE
Service at The Paintbox is warm and friendly, and all staff are knowledgeable on all the products and class information.

INSTRUCTORS
The Paintbox has many instructors and all are unique and knowledgable in the medium they teach.
